Entry Level

Junior Blasters (Ages 5-7)

 

Junior Blasters is the nationwide format for introducing children to cricket. The Junior Blasters Program features lots of fun, fast paced activities that improve cricket skills and social skills. Nearly every cricket club in Perth runs a Junior Blasters Centre and each centre is welcoming to boys and girls.

Master Blasters (Ages 7-10)

 

Master Blasters is an exciting new format that uses the skills learnt from Master Blasters and builds on them in a game environment. Short, fast paced games allow for skill development as well an opportunity for people to learn cricket. For more information visit playcricket.com.au

Perth Scorchers Girls' League

 

The Perth Scorchers Girls League is the premier junior girl’s community competition in the metro area. This competition is open for girls aged 10 to 17 years of all abilities and skill levels. There is also a Premier Cricket Youth League competition for girls selected to play in the talent pathway - talk to your cricket club for more information on these opportunities.

Perth Scorchers Women's League

 

For women aged 17 years and above, this competition is suited for participants looking to continue their community cricket journey past juniors or start playing as a senior. Games take no longer their 2.5 hours. Flexible to suit busy lifestyles.

Sunset Scorchers

 

Sunset Scorchers is a social female program offered at various locations around Perth. This is a short, modified, fun and social format of the game played in the twilight evenings of the summer nights. This club-run format uses all plastic equipment and no experience is required.

Premier Cricket 

 

Premier Cricket is the highest level of Female Club Cricket in Western Australia. Western Australia Women’s and Perth Scorchers WBBL players play in Premier Cricket when they are not participating in National Competitions. Female Premier Cricket consists of A & B Grade Competitions (age 16 years +) and Youth League U17s (13-16). Premier Clubs run trials for junior players to become part of the Youth League competition and graduate into Senior Female Premier Cricket. Matches are on Sunday’s in either T20 or One Day Match format.
